Adding and Removing Order Holds

Ecommerce merchants may put orders on hold to verify payment and address details, check stock availability, address customer requests, resolve inquiries, and ensure a smooth transaction process. It allows them to prevent fraud, manage inventory effectively, and address any concerns before proceeding with order fulfillment.

Placing Orders On Hold

Order can be placed on hold by clicking the Hold Order button.

You can also place an order on hold from the Order lists pages by right mouse clicking on the order in question, and clicking Hold.

Removing a Hold from an Order

A hold can be removed from an order by clicking the Remove Hold button.

Viewing Orders that are On Hold

You can view orders that are on hold by:

  • Clicking the Orders 1️⃣ menu item
  • Clicking the On Hold 2️⃣ menu item
